The earthquake that devastated Padang and its surrounding in western Sumatra make us becomes more phobias to the natural disaster. Besides, it has reminded us for the sins and mistakes that we have done.

I want to say my condolence to all family of the victim and their government for the massive effect of the tragedy. Thousand rupiahs (read: uncomfortable using ‘dollar’ term) of financial aids and emergency assistances that been given from countries all around the world must be distributed strategically to the victims and who’s in needs.

While regional neighbor countries of ASEAN like Japan , China and Singapore promised  to give their relief supplies and emergency aid, Malaysia have sent their soldiers and doctors to the continent to give the supply of assistants and helps.

Watching a new two-minute trailer for Sony Pictures’s upcoming disaster epic “2012”, a good try for Roland Emmeric, the director to picture the day of ‘Akhirat’ (read: The Last Day), I can’t imagine exactly how 7.6-magnitude of Richter-scale shook the world and struck the coast tragically.

I do agree with Hafiz Noor Sham’s article in Malaysia Insider when he referred the happened tragedy is a chance to polish up the relationship between both Malaysia-Indonesia family nations.

I’d never been to Indonesia but I used to plan it last year, but the trip have been canceled due to climate and whether problems.

Alhamdulillah, thanks Allah for his blessing and peaceful that been given to this nation.
